Michael Eversole

Michael brings to Paladin over 25 years of experience in federal law enforcement.
As an executive of a premier, protective agency, Michael has dedicated his career to providing a secure environment for elected officials and their families at permanent and temporary locations worldwide.
Michael oversaw physical security operations for residences, permanent and temporary, domestic and international. He instituted a Field Training Officer program and a Developmental Assignment program to improve personnel’s skills and capabilities. Michael established internal chemical and biological weapon response capabilities for facilities within the National Capitol Region. Finally, he was responsible for creating a quality assurance group to ensure consistent and excellent protective advance measures.
Michael gained experience remotely managing personnel in multiple cities simultaneously. His work with local and municipal emergency response teams in his area of responsibility strengthened federal and state and local cooperation in emergency response and event management. He has led technical planning of major events , including national political conventions, economic summits, a Papal visit and United Nations General Assemblies, serving as operational command for all government responses to fire, explosive, or HAZMAT emergencies. As a Physical Security Specialist, Michael developed expertise in both chemical and biological countermeasures, as well as technical operations.
His skills include risk and vulnerability assessment and management, security operations, emergency management, and emergency action planning. He is knowledgeable about planning and processes in the security field, having established both training and planning programs in support of physical security environments. Michael is skilled at personnel management and training, both new team members and ongoing skills training for re-certifications and performance improvement.
Michael has been a volunteer firefighter throughout much of his career, beginning in the 1990s as a Volunteer Deputy Chief in College Park. He is currently the Volunteer Assistant Chief in his hometown’s volunteer fire department.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science from the University of Maryland and a Certificate from the Key Executive Leadership Program at American University.
